Diva 9-2-01 - 2-17-2009

We had to put another one of our kitties to sleep today. My little Diva was 8years old. She has always been a little different and that is what made her my little Diva. Laltey I have noticed her progressively getting worse. She hasn't been the same cat for awhile and I knew that it was time to let her go. It has been really hard on me because it has only been 3 wks since I lost Honey. It is just awful because all of my animals are pretty old and are all going to go within a few years of eachother.

Stay with MeMe

Sunday evening after Hayden's nap, we went over to Memes to help her unpack a few more things. Hayden and I stayed there until after dinner and then I told him we needed to head home to let dogs out. Well, he said "Stay with MeMe" and so we decided to let him spend the night. At this point it was already around 8 and he goes to be around 9-9:30, and so I let him stay. Now he has only spent maybe 2 nights away from me in two years and I wasn't sure how this was going to go. I get home around 8:20 and do everything that I need to do at night, and let me tell ya it goes a lot quicker without my little helper. At around 9:40 I get the call that he fell asleep. SO I go to bed around 11 after watching a movie all by myself. Well at around midnight I get a call that he has woken up and won't go back to sleep (poor baby). I go over to get him and we get home at around 1:30am and go straight upstairs to bed. He finally settled down an hour later and slept in the next morning.

Here are a few pics of Hayden giving Titan some loving. These days that is a very rare, because he is usually pretty rough with him.

Fixing It

Ok so just to clarify I usually don't let Hayden play with batteries. This remote fell in the floor and the back popped off and the batteries fell out. Well, Hayden figured that he could fix it and so we let him try. Ok so he gets the back on it and hands it to me and I tell him thanks. Well, then I notice that it feels kinda light and so I take the back off and no batteries. I ask Hayden where they went and he proceeds to hand the little 4-wheeler behind him to me. He had stuck them in a hole in the bottom of it, and now we can't get them out.

Playing in the Snow

I know I haven't posted a lot lately, but it has been a busy week for us. As I wrote before we took our kitty Honey to be put down last Monday. Well as if that wasn't enough a few days later I had to take my dog Lacey (who is 14) to the vet over a pretty bad eye ulcer and skin problems. Both which are curable, but still pretty bad. In between all of these Patty came home for a few days to keep me company. I really don't know what I would have done without her after the Honey thing. (Thanks Patty! Hayden misses you and your phone)

Ok so the pics. Patty, Hayden and I went out in the snow for a little while the other day. We were going to go tubing, but the snow really wasn't packed down enough. And to make things easier for us we decided to just pull him around, and yes that is a dog leash hooked on there. Hey whatever works right.
